Historic Village: Weekly Flea Market is held on the weekends.The village also houses a variety of merchants, including a leather shop, a real blacksmith, and a builder of primitive instruments. Coarsegold Community Center:
Non-profit organization meets first Wednesdays, 7 pm, at the Center. Provides a meeting place for young people's organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and 4-H Club free of charge. Also hosts other groups and clubs Senior lunches are served here 3 days a week. The Madera County Public Health Nurse provides health services here monthly. Bingo is featured every Monday night and 3rd Saturdays. Info: 683-1443.

Mountain Children's Christmas Parade:
A run, parade, and party for all the Madera mountain areas. Ride-run for donations in October, run in early November, parade and party Dec. 13. Applications available in October. Contact Juanita Noble for information.
